Secret Station aims to provide a safe and welcoming space for everyone. We recognise that everyone’s experience is unique, and we strive to remove as many barriers to access as we can. If you have specific access requirements, we recommend contacting our team at access@wcwr.com.au or by phone on 03 6471 0100 to discuss your options and what to expect during your visit.
For the purposes of safety during an emergency, the West Coast Wilderness Railway requires train ticket holders to be physically able to disembark the train carriage in situations where there may be no platform, and be able to travel a short distance independently on uneven ground. Patrons unable to meet these safety requirements independently are advised to purchase a bus ticket. The same artistic content will feature on both the bus and the train.
Queenstown and Lynchford Stations are wheelchair accessible. A wheelchair accessible vehicle will be available for ticket holders requiring accessible transport. Please purchase a bus ticket and notify access@wcwr.com.au if this applies to you.
Surfaces at Queenstown Station include a mix of level wood panel floors and paved concrete. Surfaces at Lynchford Station are a mix of unpaved paths and lawn, mesh covered wooden boardwalks, linoleum floors and some gravel. Our visual stories provide more information about what to expect at both Queenstown and Lynchford Stations.
Secret Station welcomes those with neurodivergent needs. We recognise this looks different for everyone and encourage you to get in touch with us to discuss any specific needs you might have. The Secret Station experience can be crowded at times, with loud noises, dim light, and strong smells. We recommend viewing our visual stories for more detail on what to expect on your journey.
Secret Station welcomes your carer. Companion Card holders are entitled to free companion tickets to The Unconformity events, however bookings are essential to ensure capacity.
Secret Station welcomes registered assistance dogs - onboard and in our stations and venues. Assistance dogs must be harnessed or leashed, and we request that you please carry appropriate documentation and advise us of your intention to travel with an assistance animal at the time you purchase your ticket. We use information from Assistance Dogs Australia in accommodating assistance animals.
